about International College
國際學院是屏東科技大學唯一提供全英語教學的學園，具備校區內最優質的國際學習環境。學生不僅能學到扎實的學術與技術，並能與來自世界各地的同學、老師交流。
The international College hosts the largest international community in NPUST and only offers courses fully instructed in English. This college is relatively small in size, but is absolutely one-of-a-kind in identity.
2012年成立食品科學國際碩士課程，食品科學（IMAFS）是專為學生提供深入的培訓集中在三個主要領域的專業項目：全球食品生物技術，特色保健食品，以及新型食品加工技術。與幾乎所有的學科專業涉及食品科學和技術的國內和國際優秀的教師，IMAFS創立一個優秀的教學和學習環境，充分利用英語，努力推動國際交流。堅持朝「專業化」、「國際化」和「全人化」 方向前進，IMAFS具備培養優秀專業科學家、理論知識和實用技術，以及國際食品科學和技術的研究開發，同時教授先進的國際企業管理。
2013成立土壤與水工程國際碩士學位學程，學程之設置旨在提供一專門學習探討水在土壤中移動行為的領域。基本上學程分兩大方向來規劃學生未來學習的方向。其一為，當水在土壤中含量正常時，在農業使用條件下，提供學生學習土壤中水份移動與作物生長及品質關係的環境。其二為，當水在土壤中含水量不正常時，提供學生在各種不同條件下土壤中水份與水土災害發生關係的學習環境。
2015成立農企業管理國際碩士學位學程，本學程為管理學院與農學院跨領域結合，提供完整農企業管理與產銷訓練，促進區域農企業經濟發展。培育兼具農企業管理專業及人文創新思維之未來農企業領袖。以「農場企業與農民組織」 、 「休閒農業」 、 「農產品行銷貿易」 ，為發展主軸。
2016成立觀賞魚科技國際學位專班，本國際學位專班包括碩士專班及博士專班，發展重點以觀賞魚及水生動物疾病診斷及疫苗研發、育種繁養殖、器材與系統研發、行銷為四大主軸；建構全英語教學與學習環境，促進國際學術與師生交流，並以「專業化」、「國際化」、「全人化」為方向，以培育卓越且理論與實務兼備的觀賞魚及水生動物產業高階專業人才為目標。本專班為因應時勢培育社會所需人才於2018年更名為觀賞魚科技及水生動物健康國際學位專班。
2016成立動物用疫苗國際學位專班，本國際學位專班包括碩士專班及博士專班。以培育符合國際動物疫苗科技產業需求之人才為教育目標，所培育之人才將具備疫苗、佐劑之創新研發能力、疫苗產業實務能力及國際溝通合作能力。
In 1998, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology established the nation’s first full English teaching program, the Department of Tropical Agriculture and International Cooperation (DTAIC). DTAIC together with the Chinese Language Center were merged to launch the International College in February 2011, which is a first among science and technology universities in Taiwan. We cooperate actively with the International Cooperation and Development Foundation (TaiwanICDF), the Council of Agriculture, and the Ministry of Education in promoting agriculture sciences and training talents for tropical areas. Our programs are pioneering in Taiwan, and are recognized both national and internationally from their inception. To date, we have trained over three hundred Bachelor, Master, and PhD students from over forty countries in Asia, Oceania, Africa and the Americas.
