VI. Registration Information

  • Eligibility: Researchers and students from domestic and international institutions
  • Official Language: English only
  • Registration Fee: Free of Charge
  • Submission Format:
    • Abstract: 300-500 words with 3-6 keywords [PDF. | ODT.
    • Full Paper: Optional [PDF. | ODT.]
  • Submission Method: Submit via the [Online Registration Form] 
Note: The Scientific Committee reserves the right to reassign submissions to an alternative thematic track and/or presentation format.

VII. Presentation Guidelines

    • Oral Presentation: 15 minutes (12-minute presentation followed by 3 minutes of Q&A)

Presentation rooms are equipped with Windows-based PCs. Please bring your presentation files on a USB drive in both PPTX and PDF formats. Presenters are requested to test their files in the presentation room before the session, between 11:30 and 13:00. Presenters are advised to bring a backup copy of their files. Please label your files with your name and presentation number.

    • Poster Presentation: A1 size (59.4 x 84.1 cm), portrait orientation only, with the symposium name included. Presenters participating in the competition must be present at their posters at 11:20 to deliver a 5-minute presentation (1–2-minute presentation followed by 3–4 minutes of Q&A) to the panelists. All posters must be set up in their assigned spaces before 9:00. Mounting materials will be provided. Posters will remain on display throughout the day and must be removed between 16:30 and 17:00.

VIII. Competition & Awards (Students Only)

Oral Competition:
  • Available for Themes I, II, and III (No competition for Theme IV).
  • Winner(s) of the Best Oral Presentation Award in each thematic track will receive a Certificate of Merit and a NTD 3,000 cash prize.
Poster Competition:
  • Available for Themes I, II, and III (No competition for Theme IV).
  • Winner(s) of the Best Poster Presentation Award in each thematic track will receive a Certificate of Merit and a NTD 1,000 cash prize.
Note: Awards may be withheld if no presentation meets the required standard.

IX. Proceeding

All accepted abstracts and full papers will be published in the ISSI-SA 2026 Proceedings, provided that they meet the symposium guidelines in terms of quality and format.
