You are invited to present how you wish your country may look like in the future, particularly in the perspectives related to sustainable development. The aspects/perspectives you would like to focus on can be environmental, cultural, etc.
請表達您希望自己的國家將來的狀況，特別是在永續發展有關的觀點方面；焦點/觀點可涵蓋環境，文化等面相。

Thailand (泰國) - Caring about “environmental sustainability” is not just about us and our own experience on earth. My painting illustrates the nature-rich ecosystem in Thailand with clean air, giant trees, fruits, flowers, and important pollinators. The lively Thai-style colorful fish represents the happy life in fresh and clean water. Rhinoceros hornbill, a Thailand’s endangered bird, symbolizes the forest fertility. Brushed gold color presents the prosperous future on earth.

Indonesia (印尼) - This painting is inspired by my childhood memories in my grandfather's village on the island of Borneo, Indonesia. Nowadays the once highly biodiversified habitat has been replaced by dense human settlements. Seeing squirrels jumping among trees in the NPUST campus reminds me of my beautiful childhood memories about biodiversity. I hope that through this painting, biodiversity will revive in the future in the spirit of the SDGs.

Kingdom of Eswatini (史瓦帝尼) - Being ‘Extinct’ Stinks! Description: SAY NO TO POACHING. Save Wildlife. African Lion, Elephant, Rhino, and White-backed Vultures are all endangered. Mainly due to destruction of habitats and illegal poaching. Lions are now found in sub-Saharan Africa only. Both the rhino and elephant are critically endangered. Up to 10 000 elephants are killed every year.

Gambian (甘比亞) - The Baobab tree is one of the oldest trees in the world. In African culture, it is known as the tree of life because of its many health properties. It lives deep in tradition and culture representing strength, wisdom, and resilience. Sadly, it is endangered due to climate change.

Guatemala (瓜地馬拉) - Guatemala, the core of the Maya civilization, is getting polluted day by day due to the lack of education. Water is polluted, tress are fewer, girls specially from the rural areas don’t have the opportunity to go school, kids are dying because of malnutrition and poverty. This drawing represents a country full of dreams, changes, and hopes to have an impact in the future generations. I strongly believe that working together in unity is possible to have a positive and better change in my country.

Taiwan (台灣) - The person dressed in blue was playing a Paiwan nose flute. A young girl was looking at him with admiration and wanted to learn to play the nose flute. They only imitated and learned from their elders without any music scores. In addition to the cultural heritage of the nose flute, I also hope that the culture in Taiwan can continue for the next generation.
